Goose Valley

Length of course: 5,880 meters

Goose Valley Golf Course is ideally situated in a beautiful environment and borders on the Keurbooms Lagoon. This magnificent 18-hole course is designed by Gary Player and you will thoroughly enjoy the views of the lagoon, the ocean and the Tsitsikamma Mountains, as also the beauty of the natural fynbos.

The greens are fast and the course does not play long, but some holes are quite tight and that makes you think twice using your driver.

This par 3 - 11th hole overlooks the Keurbooms lagoon and it is a tricky 160 meter shot to the green which lies about 15 meter below your feet. Especially with the wind into you and the ‘out-of-bounds’ not so far away, this is not the easiest par 3 you’ve ever played.

Plettenburg Bay Country Club

Length of course: 5,926 meters

Plettenberg Bay Country Club (or ‘Plett’ as it is locally known) is a beautiful, mature 18-hole golf course set in the Piesang River Valley. The course is easy to walk with 2 main inclines which can be observed from the club house veranda. The lush parkland has no intrusive houses or traffic noise and is populated mainly with indigenous flora and fauna.

The greens are with the best of the Garden Route.

The par 4 - 16th used to be a par 5 and is one of the longest you will ever play, especially if you have to tee off from the elevated tees at the back. Do not go left on this hole. The green is well protected by bunkers and a stream, which runs 20 meters in front of the green.
